Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How I can lower my footprint
When I looked at my footprint, I noticed how high my transportation footprint was. I looked into some articles and found one specific article in the new york times that went into detail about how much carpooling or even walking or biking is a great way to reduce your effect on global warming. It showed a lot of graphs and charts showing how much of a difference it is to walk or bike instead of driving. Another way I saw you could reduce your footprint is always bringing reusable bags when going shopping. I have always done this in the past and I really think that was one of the main reasons my shopping footprint was so low. Those are the main things I saw that could help lower your carbon footprint.
to reduce your footprint you can eat more organic and local food, you can throw less, upcycling, sort out your waste and buy second-hand. You can change the light bulbs and put low-energy bulbs
