How to Save More Electricity
After taking this carbon emission calculator, I realized that I have been using far too much electricity for years. I was saddened that this was the case, but I realized that like all other pollution problems, it could not be undone. So, I resolved to change this by charging my laptop less. To do this meant using less battery power throughout the day. One way I do this now is by dimming the screen to a darker tone, and permanently putting my computer on battery saver mode. These save large amounts of battery power, meaning I do not have to waste more electricity by charging my device more often. I encourage others to try this too, as many people using less electricity means a large drop in carbon emissions.
