Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My opinion about my carbon footprint

Jeannette

I think my results are pretty low for all the categories except "Home".
For Transportation, it is low because most of the time, I travel by foot or by bike.
For Food, it is also low because I eat meat 1 or 2 times a week. I also eat local and organic food.
For Purchases, it is low because I buy a lot of senconde-main clothings.
For Home, it is high because I have a pretty big house, we use many lights and a lot of heat.
If you have any ideas to make my carbon footpint lower, tell me!
