Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

my carbon footprint
For transportation I had 2000kgs of CO2 rejected,I think it's high so for reduce that I will try to take the bus more often
It could be a great idea. Good job! In my opinion we will improve our lifestyle and make it ecological if we move by our bikes more times a week. In this way we can really reduce our impact on the planet. Let's try to do that.
That's an amaying idea! I agree with you, I also think it would be better if we used electric cars and bikes, or atleast drive a more Fuel-Efficient car. But we might as well walk a few times a week! This could be really life changing for our humanity! ![]()
That is a great idea I take the bus very often and I think it is a great way to help reduce carbon emissions.
That's a fantastic idea. I agree that taking the bus more often will reduce carbon emissions. More great ideas that will help reduce carbon emissions are taking sky trains, biking, or just walking. I have a car that has a high fuel efficiency of 23 liters/100 km. The car produces a tremendous amount of carbon dioxide. So, to help that issue I will be biking or taking the bus more often too.
Yep, 2000 is not a bad number compared to what most of my state got, but I agree that we need to stop overusing cars because it abuses our environment. And off topic question, but I'm learning French at school, how is it in France?
