How can we reduce our carbon emission with transport ?
For small distances, we can take a bike or walk instead of a transport with a motor. For long-distances, we can take a bus or a train instead of our own car. Of course, we have to don’t take any planes.
Carbon emission can be greatly reduced by carpooling with others. This is because we could have fewer cars on the road at one time. The NSA Environmental division has said that"ride-sharing commuters get to work in ways that reduce air pollution and traffic congestion, save employers and employees money, reduce the environmental impacts associated with driving single-passenger vehicles"I know this can be a challenge because of the extra communication that would be needed but it's worth the challenge. For longer distances, Trains have more than half the carbon emissions than the average plane if they were traveling to the same place, and Electric Trains a fraction of that(BBC Science Article August 2019).

We can also buy electric vehicles that u charge instead of gas ran cars, and when buying a car you can buy a smaller car that uses less gas, because if a smaller car uses less gas that's less carbon emission admitted into the air. Something I do to help with my transportation footprint is carpool with my friends. It's very convenient when you attend the same school.

I think I can reduce my carbon footprint using a new method of transportation. For example, I can carpool with my friends or I can use my bike more often since most of the places my family goes are not far.
