Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Ways that I can reduce my carbon footprint

MaCrBOD

Some Different ways that I can lower my carbon footprint are by taking shorter showers, which lowers my water usage. I can also make sure to turn off the lights when I exit the room, which will lower the amount of electricity that I use. Another way to lower electricity usage is to unplug things when I'm not using them. Many people don't know this, but electronics that are plugged in but are turned off, will still drain power, as they are in standby mode. Those are some of the multiple ways that I can lower my carbon footprint
