Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

I did the Carbon Footprint test and was shocked by the amount produced
I had no idea that what I had once thought of as "eco friendly" living was so inadiquet. I live with three other people, we try to recycle, save electricity, and use our own bags as much as possible, but even that isn't enough to lower carbon emissions past the eco friendly level. I personally don't know a ton of information about how much gas we use, what screen time we have, or how much time we spend in the car, so its possible that the result I got was incorrect. We used to have a hybrid car, but I cannot remember ever seeing it on a charger, I am pretty sure it only ever used gas for its 14 year usage period. There are a few ways that I can think of to improve my carbon emissions, walking to places more, using the heater less, and getting less unrecycleable plastic. I also looked it up; according to huffpost.com eating less/stop eating meat, unplugging your devices whenever possible, drive less, don't by "fast fassion", have a large garden, eat local/organic, and don't use dryers to dry your clothes. All of these are really great strategies and I think I will start to imply them in my every day life routine.
