Dairy and Meat industry
One of the largest contributors to global warming is the dairy and meat industry. According to Forbes this industry accounts for around 14.5% of man made carbon emissions. One of the by-products of processing beef is a large amount of methane. Methane is one of the more well known green house gasses. I know from personal experience that beef is a regular in the diets of myself and those in my household. Beef is also largely consumed throughout the U.S. Thus proving the severity of the problem.
