Reducing my carbon footprint
After calculating my carbon footprint, I noticed that it was a lot higher than average. This surprised me because I've always thought that I'm pretty careful about what I do and I usually consider my impact on the environment before making choices, but I see now that I could be doing more. My main problem area was "home". I think this is because I tend to use heaters in the winter rather than blankets and use a lot of power. I can try to substitute blankets for heaters more often and try harder to conserve power by always turning off the lights and unplugging my devices when they're charged. I will also be better about transportation in the future once covid's not as big and I can safely take public transportation sometimes. My mom also plans on getting an electric car this summer, so that should help, too.
