Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Reducing My Carbon Footprint
Looking at my results, one of my biggest single sources of carbon emissions was eating meat. I don't think I am going to become vegetarian or something like that, but it would help a lot if I ate less meat. My carbon footprint was still a little less than average for my area, but I think that is just because of the pandemic causing me to travel and drive around outside less. Aside from reducing my meat consumption, I think having the air conditioning or heating inside my house on less would also make a decent difference. After the pandemic is over, things like carpooling more or taking the bus more could also help reduce my impact.
