Food Waste and Carbon Emissions
After calculating my carbon footprint. The greatest contributor was the food category. One way to lower these levels is to make sure to compost and recycle as much as possible. Also I could make sure to limit the amount of things like ceramics and rubber, and replace them with recyclable alternatives. According to Waste Management World, around 6.82 billion tons of CO2 are emitted from waste in the US per year.
