Make Your Summer Count – Apply for Our Scholarship for Unpaid Public Sector Internships!

Are you planning to intern at a government agency or nonprofit organization this summer? If your internship is unpaid and you have unmet financial need, we want to support you! Our Scholarship for Unpaid Public Sector Internships provides awards ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 to help ease the financial burden while you gain valuable experience. Eligible students must:

✔ Be interning over the summer at an unpaid government or nonprofit organization
✔ Commit to at least 100 hours of internship work
✔ Demonstrate unmet financial need

Careers Utilizing AI: Virtual Alumni Panel (*NEW*)

This moderated panel will start with set questions and open up for audience Q&A, so have your questions ready. This panel event is presented by the Career & Internship Center, in partnership with the UW Alumni Association, as part of our ongoing Alumni Panel Series for students.

Disabled Alums Share Strategies for Career Success

Learn from alum with disabilities who’ve found internships or jobs.  They’ll share stories and insights on how to find roles; showcase their skills and experiences to employers; prepare for interviews; decide if, how, and when to disclose a disability; request accommodations; and integrate into a new work environment.  You’ll leave feeling more knowledgeable about the job and internship search…and hopefully excited about the future!  Students, alumni, staff, and faculty from all 3 UW campuses are welcome to attend.

Virtual Job & Internship Fair

Recruiters from a range of organizations looking to hire interns and new grads from all majors will be scheduling individual and group meetings with interested students.  If you want to attend you must 1) register for the fair AND 2) sign up for specific 1-to-1 or group sessions with specific employers.  Here are some resources to help you succeed at the virtual fair.
