Enola Proctor and colleagues define implementation strategies as “methods or techniques used to enhance the adoption, implementation, and sustainability of a clinical program or practice.”[1] At its core, implementation science aims to select and refine implementation strategies to put evidence-based interventions into practice. The field has identified a wide array of strategies that target different determinants of implementation.
