PREP fellows get to do a broad range of activities ranging from visiting local biotech companies, and job shadowing a professional who works in an industry/non-academic setting, to conferences, symposia, and social events. Fellows have the opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering in science fairs and events.

Several social events are organized throughout the year to facilitate friendship and human relations among fellows. We count on a welcome lunch, summer BBQs, a retreat in the San Juan Island, lunch with a URM faculty, the social lounge, journal club, and other social events organized by other graduate student and URM organizations throughout campus.
