The SoA+AH+D Department of Visual Services has an opening for a Digital Imaging Assistant to begin during Summer Quarter 2016. Students who can not begin until Autumn are also encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to students who can continue to work with us for the 2016 – 2017 academic year.
This is a paid opportunity at $14 hr – with likely change to $15 after one quarter of training. Starting at $15 is possible if your proven experience meets the job qualifications.
We are looking for someone with interest and experience related to art history, digital image management, processing and cataloging. You will perform tasks using photography, photoshop and a variety of databases – among other things.
We have roughly 15 hrs per week available during summer quarter. Our hours of operation are 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday, and the work will generally take place within that timeframe. We can discuss flexibility for course work and/or travel, and may consider splitting the 15 hours per week among two students, depending on scheduling availability.
Work study status is desirable but not required. Please see the attached job description.
