UW AMC Faculty Awards

Outstanding Teaching Recognized

Each year the graduating medical school class honors four faculty members for outstanding service to students. This year three of those faculty members are teaching award veterans who have received a combined nine teaching awards throughout their careers. The graduating class also selects the recipient of the Margaret S. Anderson Award for a faculty or staff member who gave exceptional support to students.

For the second year, the School of Medicine honored faculty members who showed particular skill and interest in offering continuing medical education for practicing physicians in the region.
