Atreya

Hi! My name is Atreya Bhamidi, and I’m from Hyderabad, India. I’m a senior majoring in economics and minoring in data science. I’m passionate about development economics, econometrics, finance, and their intersection with data science. Outside of school, I greatly enjoy music – anything from Indian classical to Seattle grunge and metal – and I sing and play the guitar. When I’m not injured, I love playing table tennis, and when I am, I enjoy competitive Pokemon.

Hi, my name is Zach Koverman (he/him) and I am a senior from San Jose, CA majoring in Economics and minoring in Data Science and ESRM. I’m especially interested in data science, environmental economics, development economics, and sustainability. Outside of school, I enjoy skiing, golf, the beach, cooking, bar trivia, and watching sports (especially UW football and the San Francisco Giants). I’m excited to be a part of the EUB this year!

Hi, my name is Anastasia Argat, and I am a senior majoring in Economics with a minor in Data Science. I am passionate about International Economics and how it impacts policies and international relations. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, photography, playing tennis, and trying out different foods.

Hello everyone, my name is James and I am a non-traditional student who transferred from Skagit Valley Community College. I am majoring in both Economics (BS) and Political Science- Political Economy (BA) with a minor in Public Policy. My interests reside in the interactions between each field and their effects on the global economy and community.

Hey! My name is Zayna and I am a sophomore majoring in Economics and minoring in Data Science. I’m mostly interested in econometrics and how economics and law work together to better society. I also hope to attend law school after graduation! Outside of studies, I love hiking, reading, and playing guitar.

Hi! My name is Laura (she/her) and I’m a senior from Bellevue, WA studying Economics and Global and Regional Studies as well as minoring in Spanish. I am interested in international and developmental economics, and hope to live and work abroad. Outside of the EUB, I’m an editor at The Daily UW and love to bake, hike, and play cello!

Hi! I’m Timila, and I’m a junior in Economics, minoring in math and public policy. I’m interested in policy analysis, microeconomics, and econometrics. I want to work with people to solve their problems using economics. Outside of school, I love going on long walks, cooking, travelling, and doing anything active.
