The conference is hosted by the Department of Asian Languages & Literature. Updated information on the conference, as well as copies of all circulars and other announcements, is available at the ICSTLL-39 web site, http://depts.washington.edu/icstll39/.

Conference Registration

The deadline for registration is July 15. Participants who are presenting papers must register by the deadline. We regret that we are unable to accept late registrations or walk-in registrations. Late registration will be permitted only for participants who are not presenting papers, space permitting. If you wish to attend the conference but not present a paper, please indicate your intent to participate on the web site.

The registration fee is US $40 (US $15 for students). Registration fees are non-refundable.

The only way to register is through the web site. Please visit the Register page on the web site, where you will find details on making payment by check, credit card, or wire transfer.

If you see an asterisk (*) next to your name on the Participants page of the web site, then you are succesfully registered. (If you register by check or wire transfer, there may be a delay of up to two weeks before your registration status is confirmed.) If you have difficulty registering or are unable to get web access, please contact us for assistance.

Note that the registration fee does not cover meals. Information on meal costs will be provided in the fourth circular.

Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submission has passed. Submitted abstracts can be downloaded from the Participants page of the conference web site. If you have submitted an abstract but do not see it on the participants page, let us know immediately.

Late abstracts will not be accepted except under special circumstances.

Unless you hear otherwise, you may assume that your abstract has been accepted.

Invitation Letters

You may request an official invitation letter at the Update My Information page. You can also update your contact information, name, and paper title.

Lodging

We have secured a block of rooms at a reduced price at two hotels near campus, University Inn and the Watertown Inn. Hotel space is limited so please make reservations as early as you can. Be sure to specify that you want the discounted "ICSTLL-39" rate when you contact the hotel. Details and information on reserving rooms are available on the Lodging page of the web site. If you need help making hotel reservations, let us know.

This is the last circular that will be mailed to the full mailing list. Future announcements will be mailed only to conference participants.
