MSW EDP Writing Assistance

I hope everyone had a restful winter break and is settling into the new quarter. This is a friendly reminder that if you are in need of writing support, the Writing Center is here to help you! As the EDP Writing Tutor I am here to support you at any point in the writing process for ANY of your writing needs. This includes but is not limited to:

 

 -Class Papers (research, policy, history, etc.)

 -Practicum related writing (newsletters, policy descriptions, grants, etc.)

 -Resume and cover letter preparation

 -Fellowship and scholarship applications

 

How to schedule a writing tutor appointment?

You are welcome to schedule 1×1 appointments (50 min.) with me during office hours. The appointment will provide a time for us to sit together and discuss your writing concerns and/or goals. As a courtesy, please schedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments can be in person or over the phone!

 

Office hours:

Tuesdays, 3-6pm

Thursdays, 3pm-6pm

Fridays, 4:30pm-6:30pm

and by appointment

 

To schedule an appointment:

1.    Go to <http://www.doodle.com/edpwrite> directly OR you can get there through the Writing Support webpage <http://www.socialwork.uw.edu/students/writing-tutors>.

2.    Select an available time slot (1 hour starting on the hour (i.e., 5pm)).

3.    Click “create a meeting request” and fill in your reason for meeting, name, and email.

4.    Review your meeting request and hit “send”.

5.    Once I have reviewed the request, you will receive a confirmation email.
