The UW Graduate and Professional Student Senate has sent out the following events – open to all graduate students.

Toys for Tots Drive
Husky United Military Veterans (HUMV) and Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) are sponsoring a toy drive for children in the Seattle area. Bring in new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-12.

Union Micro Aggressions Working Group
This working group is challenged with the task of coming up with recommendations for the Union that can be incorporated into the bargaining agreement. We want the university to know this is an issue on campus and we will fight against degrading and demoralizing working conditions. Also, we need to find ways to spread the word that workers do not have to put up with micro aggressions, and we’re here to help.

Please join us for this inqugural event and encourage fellow graduate students to bring posters of their research for a networking poster session at the event.
