Eating Disorders Post-Masters Fellowship Available FALL 2020 in Kirkland, WA

Requirements
Masters degree in Clinical Social Work, Marriage
and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or Counseling should be complete by start of fellowship. Preferred applicants will have a background or strong demonstrated interest in eating disorders treatment,have a training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a willingness to learn and develop mastery in evidence-based treatments.

About the Fellowship

Cadence Child & Adolescent Therapy, an evidence-based child and adolescent practice clinic in Kirkland, WA, is seeking experienced Post-Masters Fellows with interest in building their clinical skills in the areas of eating disorders treatment and co-morbid disorders.  Training will focus on developing skills in the areas of Family-Based Treatment (FBT), CBT-Enhanced and DBT. Cadence was one of the first Linehan Board of Certification Certified DBT Programs. This fellowship is an ideal fit if you want to:

  • provide the highest standard of FBT, CBT and DBT care to children, adolescents and their parents
  • receive weekly didactic trainings covering a wide range evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents and families
  • gain experience coordinating multi-disciplinary treatment
  • receive high quality supervision in FBT, CBT and DBT

In addition to learning and providing Family Based Treatment for eating disorders (FBT), Post-Masters Fellows will have the opportunity to learn and practice a wide range of evidence-based treatments including Comprehensive DBT, Behavioral Activation for depression, Prolonged Exposure for trauma, exposure-based treatments for anxiety, and Behavioral Parent Training.
