Enhancing Engagement and Service for Men Webinar – 5/19

This training program is designed to equip social workers and community health workers with practical skills and knowledge to better engage and serve men. With a focus on practical applications, this training will provide attendees with effective strategies to identify and address the unique needs of men, particularly those who may be reluctant to seek help. The training will cover topics such as effective communication with men, understanding masculinity, and providing gender-sensitive care.

Shon Hart

Shon Hart is the Executive Director of InvolvedDad and a keynote speaker on fatherhood. As Executive Director of InvolvedDad, Shon supports and trains practitioners, government agencies, and researchers how to ensure fathers contribute to the healthy well-being of their children.

Chuck Hill

Chuck Hill is a proud native of Flint, Michigan and a devoted husband and father. Chuck’s love for his family and his community is what drives him to make a positive impact on the lives of young men and boys. Chuck is a Fatherhood Coach with InvolvedDad

Shawna J. Lee is Professor of Social Work and Director of the Parenting in Context Research Lab. She has worked with Healthy Start programs in Michigan for 8 years to implement and evaluate father involvement programs.
