Gosnell Memorial Scholarships for MSW students (due 2/26)

MSW students, consider applying for the Gosnell Scholarships, a scholarship exclusively for MSW students. NASW is now accepting applications for MSW Scholarships for 2025-2026 academic year.

The NASW Foundation’s MSW scholarships help to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of social work, providing essential support to students pursuing their MSW degrees. These scholarships are available to NASW student members enrolled in any CSWE-accredited program nationwide, continuing the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to advancing social work education and transforming communities. Learn more about the scholarships below and apply by February 26, 2025:

  • One scholarship of up to $2,000 for work with African American communities, especially in rural areas and/or in health and mental health.
  • One scholarship of up to $5,000 for candidates committed to addressing systemic injustices with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Up to 10 scholarships of $5,000 each for work with American Indian/Alaska Native and Hispanic/Latino populations.
  • Four scholarships of up to $4,000 each for work in health/mental health practice with a commitment to serving African American communities.
