PacTrans Graduate Fellowship
Overview
PacTrans is committed to cultivating the next generation of transportation professionals and industry leaders. Since 2012, we have awarded nearly 100 fellowships to outstanding students pursuing a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering who demonstrate leadership potential and a passion for advancing the transportation field. PacTrans Fellows benefit from:
- Tuition coverage for 42 credits needed for a master’s degree at the University of Washington
- Internship opportunities that complement coursework
- Networking events to build connections across the transportation research and industry sectors
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
- Be accepted in the PMP-track Master’s Degree Program in Transportation Engineering at the University of Washington
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4
- Volunteer up to 20 hours per academic quarter to support PacTrans-sponsored events
- Aspire to become leaders in the transportation industry
