Volunteers will work at all times under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist or Pharmacy technician.

UW Neurobiology Club is currently recruiting mentors and mentees for the upcoming quarter!
They are a multidisciplinary student group that aims to encourage interest in the field of neurobiology for students and the greater community, while bringing together those with a like interest in the field.
If you are interested in learning how to get into the Neurobiology or Biology major, or interested in mentoring others on how to do so, please apply for a UW Neurobiology Club mentor or mentee position using the forms below by Friday, April 12th!

They are looking for reliable mentors, preferably sophomores, juniors, or seniors, who can ideally commit at least 4-5 hours per month! Mentors do not have to already be in their major! This a great way to gain leadership and mentorship experience; you will work with students/mentees, either one-on-one or in group settings, to serve as a guide on their UW journey and introduce aspiring Neurobiology or Biology majors to campus resources or academic services in order to help them get into their major.
Their expectations of mentors will be to:
– Actively participate in mentorship and commit 4-5 hrs per

– Be willing to share your own experience and UW journey,
campus resources, and academic opportunities

The Women’s Center Graduate Record Examinations prep course offers a comprehensive introduction to the GRE. It provides an overview of the exam, covering its overall structure, the types of questions that students will encounter, the testing environment, and available tools.
A substantial portion of the course is dedicated to providing students with means for maximizing their GRE scores; heavy focus is given to the academic content of the exam, methods for studying efficiently, and techniques that help to increase scores by taking advantage of the GRE’s design. Each of the various techniques is explained and reinforced by use in example.

Their schedule is jam packed with theme days, pranks, costumes, summer fun, and activities that are 100% wheelchair accessible.

The Surgical Outcomes Research Center (SORCE) Quality Improvement Workgroup is seeking a motivated individual interested in reviewing and abstracting data from electronic medical records. This student assistant position will join their team of abstractors to provide support for a variety of regional and national quality improvement (QI) surgical registries, including (but not limited to): NSQIP, SCOAP, or MBSAQIP.
As part of this
team, the incumbents will be responsible for aiding with abstraction, data
entry, and keeping up with registry deadlines. This position may also
involve direct contact with participants over the telephone to gather
post-operative follow-up data. Individuals hired for the position will be
trained in accordance with SORCE standard operating procedures to ensure
consistent and accurate data collection. Attention to detail is imperative as
the data collected is used in support of quality improvement benchmarking for
the hospital, as well as research.
The shifts available for this position could range from 9am and 5pm PST during the week and from 9am-3pm PST on weekends. Applicants are requested to work 10 to 15 hours a week. Requested hours may change depending on the monthly workload. Competitive applicants will have experience with medical terminology and be able to commit a minimum of 6 months to this position.
