Elective: Trio ThinkQuest

This class is all about making websites. We break up into groups, brainstorm different topics, research like crazy in 3rd period, and design a beautiful website in 5th period, all about our topic. Sounds easy, but this is a very difficult feat for us to finish in just 4 weeks. Most of us have never experienced anything quite like this at all. Maybe we’ve touched a little bit of HTML (language used to write the codes for webpages) from MySpace, but that’s basically copying and pasting from other pre-made sites.

We start from scratch, using nothing but a program from Macromedia, called Dreamweaver. This is pretty complicated stuff; so complicated, that you actually have to take this class to realize it. So if you like computers, designing, MySpace, and complications in your life, this class is right for you! Psych, it’s not all that complicated. Just some getting used-to. Byron, Erin, and the new T.A., Sindy, are A LOT of help and they know pretty much everything.
