About Us
The Center for Social Science Computation and Research (CSSCR) is a resource center for the social science departments at the University of Washington. The Center computing resources, computer and statistical consulting, data services, poster printing, and support of coursework, thesis, and research computing on campus.
CSSCR is comprised of the following member departments and schools of the University of Washington:
- The College of Education
- The Department of Anthropology
- The Department of Communication
- The Department of Economics
- The Department of Geography
- The Department of Political Science
- The Department of Psychology
- The Department of Sociology
- The Jackson School of International Studies
- The School of Social Work
Additionally CSSCR is part of a network of research centers:
- The Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology (CSDE)
- The Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS)
These centers provide research support to the Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences and the broader University of Washington community.
