Kevin

Kevin is a reference assistant and second-year graduate student in the MLIS program. He holds a BA in English and History with a minor in Art from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, bolstering his personal interest in literary, historical, and art analysis. He enjoys assisting students, however, from a variety of disciplines and through a broad range of research projects. He particularly appreciates working alongside students through the initial phases of research—generating ideas, narrowing down their focus, and fleshing out potential research questions. (His foremost goal being to help students determine for themselves what it is they are most passionate about understanding in their studies.) When away from work and school, he spends much of his time annotating novels, sketching, listening to albums, and writing in journals with a pathologically all-consuming fervor.
