Natalie
Natalie is a Ph.D. Candidate in Geography studying intersections of food, digitality, and social justice. Her pre-UW life experiences include serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, canning fish in Alaska, and organizing tomato cooperatives in Central Asia. She and her mom (who now has a Ph.D.) were in the same college at the same time, so in that way she is a first-gen student. She chooses coffee over tea and cycling over driving…but don’t ask her to choose between dogs and cats. She loves helping writers with word economy and frequently composes six-word stories with her student writers.
