Consultation: Children or youth referred for a consultation do not need to be dependent to receive a consultation. Cases or specific children/youth that have received an FCAP consultation within the previous twelve (12) months are not eligible for another consultation. In addition, a case that receives a consultation is not eligible for an assessment for twelve (12) months.
Assessments: Children or youth referred for an assessment must be dependent and have been in out-of-home care for at least eighteen (18) months. Children or youth who have received an FCAP assessment within the previous eighteen (18) months are not eligible to receive another assessment. In addition, a child or youth who has received an assessment is not eligible for a consultation for twelve (12) months.
