The next symposium will take place in Bangkok, Thailand hosted by Chulalongkorn University.
	Since 1997, the Asia Pacific Symposium on Music Education Research has been a forum for the dissemination of new scholarship relating to music teaching and learning. One of the central missions of APSMER is to facilitate exchange among researchers from the Asia Pacific region as well as between the Asia Pacific and global research communities. All scholars are invited to share new research in music education, particularly that relevant to the social, educational and cultural context of Asian Pacific nations.
