The library is open to the general public with a substantial number of books available for circulation. Registration is required. We have 4 unrestricted computers available for public use and free wireless access, via the UW network. Please see the General Information page for more details on using the library.

Monday, 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
During UW Summer interim* the hours are noon to 8pm
Winter interim* the hours are noon to 5pm

Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Special open late dates(until 7:00 pm):
Wednesday, October 10 and Wednesday, November 12

Saturday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (closed Saturdays in July & August)

Volunteers are invaluable to the smooth functioning of the library, giving an average of 2000 hours per year. The library currently has eight active volunteers who typically work a 3-4 hour shift each week. Tasks include shelving, data entry, special projects, helping patrons, and other duties. Unpaid interships or directed fieldwork may also be arranged.
