The Odegaard Writing & Research Center (OWRC) is now hiring for multiple hourly Peer Writing Tutor and Student Assistant positions beginning the Fall Quarter 2025 and continuing through Spring Quarter 2026. (Revisited 4/25) Graduating MSW students, a nationally respected outpatient treatment program in Bellevue, WA. is looking for an MSW graduate to work as a clinical outpatient therapist. Commence forwarded message:
The position will start as part-time, but should increase to full-time fairly quickly. The therapist will work along side experienced therapists in running treatment groups for adolescents and adults with sexual behavior problems, as well as learn to perform psychosexual evaluations. Training will be provided so that the therapist can provide individual therapy with adolescents and adults. Assistance in getting licensed and certified as a sex offender treatment provider will also be provided. This position is a wonderful opportunity for an MSW graduate or soon to be graduate to gain entry into a challenging but very rewarding career in the field of sexual abuse. We are a small program with a total of four therapists, and I plan to retire in the next year or two and would like to train a replacement therapist during that time.

The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) and the Washington State Bar Foundation (WSBF) seek two community members who have worked and/or lived in communities impacted by systemic racism and oppression to serve on a selection panel for the 2025 Powerful Communities Grant. Community members who serve on the panel and have lived experience of systemic racism and oppression will each receive a $500 stipend.
Selection Panel Member Role: The overall time commitment is estimated to be 10 hours. The expectation is that selection panelists will take four to six hours to review and rate applications. The remaining time will be used to meet with the selection panel to decide on the final grantees. We will likely meet once for two to three hours.
We welcome all community members to apply! No need for previous experience on a selection committee.
