SECOND LIFE: SIGNUP PROCESS
Head on over to SecondLife.com and click on the "Join Now" button in the upper right-hand corner.
Fill out the form above; all you need to input is your username (not your real name) and your password, and you will be asked to choose a generic "look." This is what your character will look like, and you can change this later.
Download and install Second Life as you would any other program. The installation screen looks like this.
Once you install it and start it up, you will be met with a screen like this, where you will login with your previously inputted account information.
Second Life is a graphic intensive online game, so your computer does need to meet certain requirements to be able to run the program properly. Please click here to see a list of system requirements.
