Dr. Tim Trinklein

Tim graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2018 with a degree in Chemistry. There, he worked under Prof. Joseph Aldstadt developing flow- and sequential-injection analytical techniques and their hyphenation with low-field NMR spectroscopy for the determination of NPS (new psychoactive substances) in seized forensic samples. Tim moved to Seattle in September of 2018 to pursue graduate studies in the Synovec lab where he is a currently a 5th year. Tim’s interests span fundamental theory, instrumentation, and chemometrics for comprehensive two- and three-dimensional gas chromatography. While not in the lab, Tim enjoys climbing and mountaineering. Tim can be contacted at timtk@uw.edu.
