Thinking about transferring to the UW? If you are, Transfer Thursday is your gateway to transfer information. At a Transfer Thursday session, you can speak to an admissions counselor who will tell you all about applying to the UW. You can also meet with an undergraduate academic advisor who will help you prepare for your intended UW major. Bring your questions and your unofficial transcript(s). It’s one-stop shopping for the prospective transfer student.

Hello from Program on the Environment!

We are the Environmental Studies major here at the University of Washington and would love to answer any questions you might have about our degree. Just to give you a brief description, we are a major that concentrates on the intersection of humans and the environment. If you are interested in studying the environment from a communications, education, policy or consulting point of view, we could be a great degree for you.

One great event that we have coming up is the Capstone Symposium. This will occur on Dec 2 and 4th 2013, during the afternoon (exact TBA) in the Alder Hall Commons at the UW campus. Capstone is the culminating experience in the core classes for Environmental Studies students and a variety of topics will be represented. If interested in more detail, visit our website!

If you have further questions about advising questions or the major, please feel free to contact Julie Johnston. Her email is juljohn@uw.edu and her phone is 206-616-1208.
