Requesting
Plasmids and Strains
All requests for plasmids and strains should be submitted through our collaborators' website. Returning collaborators
may log in to the left or by clicking here. New
collaborators may register with our website here.
A number of plasmids and
strains are available through theYRC for two-hybrid analysis
and fluorescence microscopy. (Visit our Plasmids & Protocols page).
For plasmid requests you must select
whether they will be used for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Also, specify how you would like us to send the plasmids (FedEx or
standard post), and provide a FedEx account number for billing if
you choose FedEx.
Submitting
a Proposal for Collaboration
Before submitting a proposal
for a collaboration, review the collaboration
policies. NOTE: Mass spec data will be released upon publication.
Collaborations should
be focused on the analysis of protein complexes in S. cerevisiae or S. pombe.
We particularly encourage studies that combine the use of more than
one technology. Please include 1) a brief background of the project
and 2) a short justification. Ideally, the application should be accompanied
by preliminary data when available. Unpublished results which support
the justification will be kept confidential. Applications will be
considered on a rolling basis, and for collaborations that are accepted
by the YRC, a priority list is established.
All collaboration requests should be submitted through our collaborators' website. Returning collaborators
may log in to the left or by clicking here. New
collaborators may register with our website here.
General Questions
Using the collaborators' website, you can send questions to
any or all members of the YRC.Once a collaboration is established questions are generally handled
by email, but the website will work as well.
