Localization Benchmarks We have designed strains with CFP or YFP fusions to proteins of known localization. Each fusion is expressed under the control of its endogenous promoter. Images were taken of live cells in mid-log. Fluorescence filter sets are from Omega Optical. Gray scale images are acquired with a Photometrics Quantix camera from Roper Scientific and then pseudocolored. The image from the YFP fluorescence is colored green.
