Amari S. Perry-Thornton, BA

Amari Perry is the Clinical Research Coordinator at the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Translational Research Subcore (TRS). CFAR TRS is in the Harborview Medical Center’s 2 West Clinic. She plays an important role in helping researchers conduct HIV related studies. Amari assists with protocol development, enrolling participants for study registries, Phlebotomy, and collecting data and specimens for our specimen repository.

Amari graduated from the University of Washington with her Bachelors in Public Health-Global Health. Her public health interest include STI’s, reproductive health, and sex education. Previously working with HIV positive low-income individuals as a Case Manager, she is passionate about improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging with friend, live music events, Reality TV, and making art.
