Propagation Protocol Database

This database is maintained by the Native Plant Network; an organization devoted to the sharing of information on how to propagate native plants of North America (Canada, Mexico, and US).

National Wetlands Research Center: Library Digital Collection

The National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) “is a source and clearinghouse of science information about wetlands in the United States and the world for fellow agencies, private entities, academia, and the public at large.” The site contains technical reports and species profiles, as well as: a Habitat Suitability Index Models Series and a Waterfowl Management Handbook produced by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Millennium Ecosystem Assessment

A United Nation initiated effort that “assessed the consequences of ecosystem change for human well-being. From 2001 to 2005, the MA involved the work of more than 1,360 experts worldwide. Their findings provide a state-of-the-art scientific appraisal of the condition and trends in the world’s ecosystems and the services they provide, as well as the scientific basis for action to conserve and use them sustainably.”
