Welcome to the Memory Hub
In 2021, the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center (MBWC) is proud to launch a new initiative on Seattle’s First Hill: The Memory Hub. Bringing together people, programs and partners, the Memory Hub operates as a vibrant dementia-focused programs and events venue, collaborative workspace and training center.
Tracing the Vision for the Memory Hub…to Zimbabwe

It’s Husky Giving Day! Support the Memory Hub and Maude’s Garden
Today, April 6th, is Husky Giving Day, the University of Washington’s 24-hour online giving challenge. Join us to support the Memory Hub, including projects like the new gazebo in Maude’s Garden!

The Memory Hub…One Year In!
Since the Grand Opening in March 2022, the Memory Hub space has come to life with the launch of a variety of programs offering resources, music, art, nature engagement, and joyful opportunities for connection and learning. This community space brings together UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center (MBWC), the Frye Art Museum, the Alzheimer’s Association, Elderwise, and Full Life Care. Looking for information or support for the memory loss journey? At the Memory Hub, a care consultant from the Alzheimer's Association acts as “Memory Navigator." Erica Farrell provides free 30-minute appointments once a week, to help you get connected with helpful memory loss resources. Discuss what you're looking for, and discover what may be available in your area to help you thrive.
