Welcome to the Memory Hub
In 2021, the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center (MBWC) is proud to launch a new initiative on Seattle’s First Hill: The Memory Hub. Bringing together people, programs and partners, the Memory Hub operates as a vibrant dementia-focused programs and events venue, collaborative workspace and training center.
What are dementia-friendly communities?

South Korean Students Visit to the Memory Hub for Firsthand Experience of Dementia-Friendly Programs
The Memory Hub on-site collaborator, Elderwise, recently hosted four Handong Global University undergraduate psychology students who came to Seattle to learn about innovative programs serving older adults and people living with memory loss. The students are part of the Humanities and Social Convergence Talent Training Project, funded by the Korean Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, whose goal it is to foster international learning opportunities on topics related to current societal issues in Korea, such as the needs of an aging population.

Program is Currently Full; Join the Waitlist. In this group, join other family caregivers to share feelings and experiences about caring for a loved one with memory loss or dementia. Make meaningful connections, offer mutual support, and discover strategies that work for others. Participate online or by phone, with a free application called Zoom. Facilitated by trained volunteers with support from our program manager. Sign up the day before.
