Financial Technology (FinTech) Competition

How many students use PayPal? Robin Hood? Fun Fact: the idea of PayPal and Robin Hood comes from within the Financial Technology (FinTech) industry!

Sound Credit Union has partnered with UW Tacoma and is looking for people with great ideas to enhance the financial well-being of society. In the FinTech competition, students are able to pitch their ideas to potential investors and receive feedback. The winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and industry support to prepare their presentation for the statewide challenge.

If you have an idea that can shake up the FinTech industry, this is your chance! Submissions are due by April 18. Join us for the virtual kickoff on April 4 from 12:30 – 1 pm to learn more.
