May 24 & 25 Plurifeminisms Symposium Registration & Flyer: English and Spanish versions

We are so happy to share the Plurifeminisms Symposium flyer in English and Spanish versions.

This is a hybrid symposium with some people presenting from remote locations, some live presentations here at UW, musical performance.

Please tune in to the remote zoom webinar if you can’t make it in person to the wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House or Simpson Center. And please share widely with students and anyone else.

All events will be broadcast over zoom with simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish, and then consecutive interpretation during the scholarly cross-dialogue, Cricket, Megan and I can now say we know a lot more now about hybrid conference planning and language interpreters than we ever imagined we would. It’s a lot of plates in the air!

Weaving music, art, and culture together with attention to institutional and structural formations, the symposium explores issues such as indigenous sovereignty, plurinationalism, land defense, violence, sexuality, reproductive rights, and the relationship between music, art, and activism.

The two-day symposium is anchored by an opening night reception featuring a music encuentro and three public panels on the UW Seattle campus.

Spanish/English language interpretation will be available throughout the symposium.
