Training Description:
This 40-hour training will provide initial adult/adolescent sexual assault nurse examiner training and provides training on all aspects of the forensic sexual assault examination according to state and national standards.
Training is provided as either a 5-day-in-person 40-hour training course or a Hybrid training course with 2 days of recorded content and 3 days of in-person content.
Participant Requirements:
Registration is free for nurses employed by Washington state hospitals who will perform forensic examinations. Referral from a manager is required.
All other participants are accepted as space is available with a cost.
