Training Description:
This 40-hour training will provide initial pediatric sexual assault nurse examiner training and provides training on all aspects of the pediatric forensic sexual assault examination according to state and national standards.
Training is provided as either a 5-day-in-person 40-hour training course or a Hybrid training course with 2 days of recorded content and 3 days of in-person content.
Participant Requirements:
Registration is free for nurses employed by Washington state hospitals who will perform forensic examinations. Referral from a manager is required.
All other participants are accepted as space is available, and cost may apply.
