Dr. Paquette is an Assistant Professor in the Center for Developmental Biology & Regenerative Medicine (CDBRM) at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute and a member of the University of Washington School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics (Division of Genetic Medicine). Dr. Paquettes primary research interest is to use ‘omics data generated from the placenta to better understand the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHAD). Dr. Paquette received her PhD from Dartmouth’s Program in Experimental and Molecular Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Carmen Marsit. She has expertise and formal training in molecular epidemiology, epigenomics, transcriptomics, toxicology, computational biology, and placental biology. Dr. Paquette joined the Center for Developmental Biology in August 2020.
