Yinhai Wang, Ph.D. Dr. Wang is a professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington. He serves as director for the Pacific Northwest Transportation Consortium (PacTrans), USDOT University Transportation Center for Federal Region 10.

Project Information

This project will provide funds for the PI to attend a conference and for a graduate student to participate in four safety projects sponsored by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Physical Facilities (AKDOT&PF). The four projects are listed below:

  1. Analyzing Driver Behavior in Passing Zones with Differential Speed Limits on Two-Lane Two-Way Undivided Highways in Alaska
  2. Accident Reduction Factors Relating To Moose-Vehicle Collision Crash Types
  3. Highway Patrol Investment Levels versus Crash Outcomes
  4. Develop Highway Safety Manual Safety Performance Function Calibration Factors For Alaska
