Artist Trust Awards!

The two recipients of the first ever Arts Innovator Award from Artist Trust are both graduates of the School of Art: Leo Berk (MFA 1999) and Margie Livingston (MFA 1999). This is now the largest grant available to an individual artist in Washington State.

Artist Trust also announced this week its 2010 Grants for Artist Projects (GAP). Two faculty and several alumni received these awards: Chris Engman (BFA 2003), Eroyn Franklin (BFA 2006), Noah Grussgott (BFA 2008), Zhi Lin (Professor, Art), Yuki Nakamura (MFA 1997), Nicholas Nyland (BFA 1999), Nicki Sucec (MFA 2008), Mark Zirpel (Assistant Professor, Art), and Jennifer Zwick (BFA 2004).
