Artists for Japan @RedCross

Many School of Art faculty and alumni have donated work to a Seattle event taking place on March 26th and 27th, 2011. Artists for Japan is raising money to support Red Cross relief efforts after the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. The event takes place at KOBO at HIGO in the International District. Saturday hours are noon to 8pm, and Sunday hours are noon to 5pm. The growing list of artists involved is on the event’s website. The Murakami Family, who own Higo Variety Store, will match up to $10,000 of the money raised at this event.
