Wright Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
On 29 October 2011, at the Native American Art Studies Association (NAASA) conference, Art History Professor Robin Wright was presented with the organization’s Lifetime Achievement Award. This award was in recognition of her teaching and scholarship; her work as the founding director of the Bill Holm Center for the Study of Northwest Coast; the exhibitions she has curated at the Burke Museum as curator of Native American art; and her service to NAASA, which has included two terms on the board (1989-1997) and two terms as president (1999-2003).
